Meet the Team

  • The Rev. Jim Liberatore

    PRESIDENT AND CO-FOUNDER

    Rev. Jim Liberatore has been the Lead Priest at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Pearland, Texas, since 1995. He is the Co-Founder of Mosaic in Action and is the President of the Mosaic in Action Board.

    The priesthood is Rev. Jim’s second career. Before entering the priesthood, he was a manager in the mining, heavy construction, and exploration areas of the oil industry in New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas. He is a Professional Engineer in Texas. Before serving at St. Andrew’s, he has served churches in Houston and Baytown.

    Rev. Jim has been married to his wife, Christine, for 50 years and has two daughters, four grandchildren, and one great-grandson, all living locally.

  • Debbie Allensworth

    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND CO-FOUNDER

    Debbie Allensworth has been an Associate Pastor at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church since 1998, specializing in Outreach. She is the co-founder and Executive Director of Mosaic in Action.

    Debbie earned her degree from Texas A&M University, and her background is in Archaeology. She received her M.A. from Wesley Seminary at Indiana Wesleyan University where she focused on how the church can become a vital partner in a local community.

    Debbie has been married to her husband, David, for 29 years with whom she has four children.

  • Marcus George

    CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR

    Marcus George relocated from Dallas to the Houston area with his wife in 2014 after retiring from a 35+ year career in Youth Ministry. With a background in mission work within construction, Marcus provided handyman work for a local real estate brokerage and acquired his Texas Real Estate license shortly after 2017.

    After Hurricane Harvey, he began utilizing his ministry and construction skills in Disaster Recovery with non-profit organizations. He now assists Mosaic in Action by leading its construction projects at various home repair sites.

    Marcus and his wife are avid movie watchers and enjoy their new hobby of bird feeding. They have two daughters who both work in the field of teaching.

    BOOKKEEPER
